Sri Ganganagar : Sri Ganganagar Police of Rajasthan has carried out a major operation. Police have arrested 3 accused with heroin worth Rs 2.5 crore in the area. This entire operation has been carried out by the local Suratgarh Police and District Special Police. Currently, the accused are being interrogated. The entire operation was carried out under the direction of District SP Gaurav Yadav. In which the police have arrested two people from Punjab and one person from Anupgarh in the case of smuggling. However, the names of the accused have not been released yet. There is a possibility that a large network of smuggling may be revealed in the interrogation of the arrested people.

This year, about 30 such cases have come to light in which people have been caught smuggling. However, people from Punjab are the most involved in these. Smugglers sitting in Pakistan send heroin packets towards the Indian border through drones. Sometimes local smugglers are successful in escaping with them but sometimes they are caught by the police. Police or Border Security Force are successful in catching them.
