Rajasthan Roadways passengers should be careful, now 10 times fine will be charged for one mistake

These days corruption has reached its peak in Jaipur : Rajasthan Roadways. Here the roadways bus employees are running a big fare scam. Besides, the passengers traveling in roadways buses are also defrauding the roadways buses by traveling without tickets. Due to this, roadways buses are suffering huge loss of revenue. In such a situation, now the Transport Corporation has decided to take major action in this matter. Roadways management is taking action against corrupt employees. Now it has been decided to impose fine on passengers traveling without tickets.

Under this, if anyone is found traveling without a ticket in roadways buses, an amount equal to 10 times the fixed fare will be recovered. Roadways management has issued revised orders in place of the earlier orders regarding recovery of surcharge amount. On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister and Transport Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, emphasis is being laid on meaningful efforts to recover roadways from losses and increase revenue earning.

10 times the fare or Rs 2000 will be recovered

Corporation President Shubhra Singh said that efforts are being made to make the vehicle inspection system effective in the corporation and to increase the corporation revenue. He said that most of the inspectors do not collect surcharge amount from ticketless passengers during vehicle inspection. In such a situation, by revising the orders issued earlier, if the passenger is found traveling without a ticket, a fine equal to 10 times the fare or Rs 2000, whichever is less, will be recovered. He said that in this regard, a target has been set to collect surcharge amount of Rs 36 thousand per month for the personnel doing inspection work. Whereas earlier the target for the inspectors was to catch 3 ticketless passenger cases.

Action will also be taken against bus driver, conductor and clerk

Singh said that along with this, if a total of five or more such cases are found against the bus attendant, conductor and driver of any one depot of the corporation in a month of traveling without ticket, action can be taken against them or In such cases, if any, the personnel working in the concerned bus depot will also be issued a charge sheet for negligence and suspended so that the investigation is not affected.
