Jaipur : Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is preparing to take major action against the candidates who remain absent in competitive examinations. The board will keep an eye on the candidates who do not appear for the examination even after applying. Candidates who remain absent even after applying for three consecutive recruitment examinations will be debarred. This will be the first such action by any recruitment agency. In fact, the board spends crores of rupees in conducting a recruitment examination. This includes preparing the paper, printing it, delivering it to the examination centers and payment of government employees deployed in the examination. The board does make preparations according to the candidates registered for the examination, but the number of candidates in the recruitment examination remains half. This causes unnecessary expenditure of the board. An estimated expenditure of about 500 rupees is incurred on one candidate. In such a situation, the board is going to take action against the candidates who remain absent continuously even after applying.
So many absentees in previous exams
3638 candidates applied for the women supervisor recruitment exam on September 7. Only 50.13 percent were present.
2292 candidates applied for the hostel superintendent recruitment exam on August 30. But 60.64 percent candidates appeared.
In the ASO competitive exam held on August 25, only 17.46 percent candidates appeared for the exam at the centres in Jaipur city.
Preparations to increase the validity of CET score
The government is going to issue new rules for the CET exam. Along with this, the validity of the CET score can also be increased. The chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has given this information on his social media account. It has been told that the validity of the CET score is currently one year. After this, the candidates have to appear for the exam again. Efforts are being made to make the validity of the CET score three years or more.
Alok Raj, Chairman of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, says that it has been observed in many recruitment examinations that candidates are not showing interest in appearing in the examination. Due to the absence of a large number of candidates, the board’s preparation goes waste and there is also financial loss. We are preparing to take action against the candidates who do not appear for the examination even after applying.
