Rajasthan team won silver medal in Kabaddi in Bhilwara Asind.

Bhilwara : Village residents took out a grand procession to welcome Mahendra Nath Yogi after winning silver medal at the national level.

Mahendra Nath Yogi, a student studying in Government Higher Secondary School Chatrapura of Badnore subdivision, has won the silver medal in the Kabaddi competition held in Madhya Pradesh. After which the villagers took out a procession on returning to the village.

Kabaddi coach Anil Kumar Sharma said that Rajasthan team won the silver medal in the 68th national level Kabaddi competition. Villagers took out a procession from Ralayata, the residence of Mahendra Nath Yogi, a student of PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School, Chatrapura. Rajasthan team coach Ramesh Tarar, team manager Soji Ram Meena, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, Rajasthan Kabaddi Association President Tejashwi Gehlot congratulated Mahendra Nath.

Coach Anil Sharma told that in the state level competition, Mahendra, playing from Beawar district, performed excellently and got the fourth position of the team of Beawar district. Father Kastur Nath Yogi is a farmer. Before this, Mahendra Nath Yogi had also played two state level games. Mahendra plays as raider and corner in Kabaddi.
