Rajasthan Technical University will start new courses for Kota Railways.

Kota : Kota has good news for the students of Rajasthan Technical University. RTU will start PG Diploma course on Railway Signal Engineering and Armour. This will give students an opportunity to study railways. Apart from studies, students will also be given training in the state-of-the-art laboratories of Railways, so that they can become more updated in the field of engineering. Job opportunities will also be available on the basis of certificate courses. In this regard, an MOU will be signed between Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunications, Secunderabad on Thursday. After this, RTU will update its curriculum to include these Railway courses for engineering graduates in various disciplines. At present there are 90 engineering colleges affiliated with RTU. About one lakh students are studying in them.

Will get help in training

Presently, after completing the course, RTU students are given training for 45 days in different fields. Students will be given a visit to the IRISET laboratory at the Railway Institute and will also get a chance for training. With this they will be able to get updated in the field of railway engineering. Along with this, teachers will also be able to get updated with modern technologies by getting the opportunity to do research on topics related to ATP armour, railway signaling and telecommunication.

Teachers will get new dimensions in research

Teachers will be given training in the railway sector. This will improve the quality of education. Students and teachers will get a new dimension of research in the field of railways. After its implementation, hostel and mess facilities will be arranged on fee basis. Online and offline training facilities will be available.
