Last year, 18 crore 7 lakh tourists had arrived in the state, but this time this record seems to be broken. This year, 8 crore 41 lakh tourists have come to the state in the first 6 months. The big thing is that most of the time in the first 6 months of the year is off season in terms of tourism. In such a situation, it is expected that the number of tourists can go up to 20 crores in the 6 months from July to December. In fact, from 17 September to 31 March, Rajasthan Tourism will participate in 6 foreign marts and 19 domestic tourism events. This month, from 17 to 19 September, Top Reza Tourism Mart will be organized in Paris, France. Top travel agents and tour operators from all over the world come to it. Here Rajasthan Tourism will not only set up a huge pavilion but will also do a road show. After this, Tourism Expo, Tokyo will be organized. Then WTM London, Qatar Travel Mart, Fitur Spain and ITB Berlin will also be organized. Rajasthan tourism has already made its mark abroad but after Corona, Rajasthan emerged as a safe state. In such a situation, Rajasthan has currently emerged as the most preferred state for foreign and domestic tourists.
Under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari, the Principal Secretary of the Department Gayatri Rathore, Director Dr. Rashmi Sharma and the team have done tremendous work. Here, other officials of the department have left no stone unturned in promoting Rajasthan tourism in the country and abroad. The work done on the monuments of the state under the leadership of Archaeological Director Dr. Pankaj Dharendra has also sent a better message to the people. In the six months from September to March, the show case of traditional and new products of Rajasthan Tourism in the events to be held in the country and abroad will give a further boost to Rajasthan tourism. The operation of the Palace on Wheels will brand our tourism products. Therefore, it is expected that Rajasthan Tourism will create a new record in the coming six months. Rajasthan tourism will dominate Europe and Asian countries for the next few months. Our rich culture and tourism products have been attracting foreigners.
