Rajasthan Weather Monsoon becomes active again, heavy rain alert in many districts

Jaipur : After a few days of relief, monsoon has become active once again in Rajasthan. Rain has occurred in many areas of the state in the last 24 hours. Ajmer recorded the highest rainfall of 12 mm. The Meteorological Department said that monsoon is expected to remain active in eastern Rajasthan for the next four-five days and heavy rain is expected at various places in Kota and Udaipur divisions.

Monsoon will remain active for 4-5 days

According to the IMD, a low pressure area is formed over Chhattisgarh and the surrounding Vidarbha region today. Another new low pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal around July 18. Today the monsoon trough line is still passing through parts of southern Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department said in its forecast that the monsoon will remain active at various places in eastern Rajasthan for the next four-five days.

Torrential rain in many districts including Kota

Heavy rains may occur in Kota and Udaipur divisions. He said that heavy rains are expected in some places in Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer divisions. The Meteorological Department said that rains are expected in some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions of western Rajasthan in the coming days. Heavy rains may occur in some places in Jodhpur division on July 17 and in Shekhawati region on July 18. Apart from this, the sky is expected to remain generally cloudy and rain with thunder in Jaipur till July 20.
