Jaipur : Rajasthan is preparing to take a giant leap in the field of medical. For this, the state government is developing RIMS on the lines of AIIMS in Rajasthan. An amount of Rs 750 crore will be spent for this. For this, work on the action plan of RIMS has now started.
RUHS hospital will be developed as “RIMS”
Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar said that the hospital affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences will be developed into Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences “RIMS” on the lines of AIIMS. For this, an effective action plan will be made and work will be started soon. This work will be completed in a phased manner within the time limit. Besides, the staff required for super specialty services in RUHS hospital will also be deployed soon. Khinvsar was reviewing the development of the university, RIMS and other issues in a meeting held at RUHS on Thursday.

To provide state-of-the-art medical facilities to the general public, reduce the patient load of Sawai Mansingh Hospital and promote research in the field of medical education, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced to develop RUHS as RIMS at a cost of Rs 750 crore. .
Start work on action plan soon
The Medical and Health Minister directed the officials to prepare an action plan after assessing the construction work to be done for the development of RIMS, equipment for testing and treatment and the needs of doctors and other staff. He said that with the development of this institute in the form of RIMS, better medical facilities will be available not only to the people of Jaipur but also to the patients coming from all over the state.
