The height of this statue of Lord Ganesha is 9 feet. According to the temple priest Ramavtar Dadhich, this Ganesha temple was established about 160 years ago. At that time, saints of Niranjani sect were passing through here and were going to Padhai Mata temple situated at Namak Lake. During this, when they stopped at this place, a saint named Dundraj made a big statue of Lord Ganesha from Mon Matki (big pot), Murad and clay. When the people of Didwana came to know about this, they got the statue consecrated at this place. Since then, this temple of Lord Ganesha is situated at this place.
