Barmer : There is a wave of mourning in the district after the news of the death of a soldier of Indian Army posted in Jammu and Kashmir from Barmer district of Rajasthan came to light. The soldier is a resident of Mithi Nadi Dhanau village of Chohtan area of Daulal district. Daulal had won the gold medal in the country cross race on 14 September. He was posted in Chandigarh and when his health suddenly deteriorated during training in Jammu and Kashmir, he was admitted for treatment in Udhampur, from where when his condition deteriorated, he was brought to Chandigarh Hospital. Jawan Daulal died there on Thursday. Today (Saturday) his mortal remains will be brought to Barmer and his last rites will be performed with state honors in his village.
The marriage took place a year ago
Jawan Daulal got married a year ago and had come home on 20 days leave about 6 months ago. Daulal was the youngest among five brothers in his family. His father Deeparam works in farming. 5 years ago in 2019, at the age of 20, Daulal had joined the army. He was posted as a gunner in 130 Air Defense Regiment in the army. According to the information received, the last rites of the soldier will be performed on Saturday in his native village Mithi Nadi. During this time, many public representatives, administration officials, military officers, soldiers along with the general public will participate.
Won gold medal on 26 September
Let us tell you that soldier Daulal Prajapat (25) was posted in the 130th Air Defense Regiment of the Army in Chandigarh. Recently, on September 14, he along with the Army had brought glory to Barmer by winning the gold medal in the country cross race held in Chandigarh. After the race, he was sent to Jammu and Kashmir for training. Where on September 26, his health suddenly deteriorated. After which he was admitted to the Army Hospital in Udhampur for treatment where his health did not improve. After this he was referred to Chandigarh Army Hospital where Daulal breathed his last on Thursday. There is a wave of mourning in the area along with the family after hearing the news of the soldier’s death.
