Jaipur, December 1 (IANS). Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Medical Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore welcomed ‘The Rajasthan Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion’ bill being brought by the Rajasthan government.
He said, “For the last several days, cases related to religious conversion and love jihad have come to light across the country. This will be a work to maintain communal harmony.”
He further said, “Apart from this, many policies have also been issued by the government in this regard. “Generally, such policies are issued by governments that believe in running governance in a transparent manner.”
Meanwhile, he also laid special emphasis on the industrial activities of the state. Referring to MSME, he called it the life of the state. He also mentioned tourism and said that it is a big component of GSDP.
He said that in the coming days we are going to export Rs 1.5 lakh crore. A policy in this regard has been brought by the state government. I have been a witness to many governments. This is the first government which is continuously coming up with policies. Every person can work on the basis of that policy.
Let us tell you that Rajendra Singh Rathore had come to Ajmer to attend some social program. Meanwhile, while talking to journalists, he openly expressed his views on various issues.
It was decided to bring ‘The Rajasthan Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion’ Bill in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday. This bill is being brought with the aim of banning conversion activities.
