Rajsamand : Senior citizens aged 70 years and above in Rajsamand have been added to Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana run in the state, the facility of cashless treatment has been provided to all the senior citizens. According to CMHO Dr. Hemant Kumar Bindal, to avail the benefits of the scheme, senior citizens aged 70 years and above will be given the facility of Ayushman Bharat Prime Minister. You will have to apply on the portal of Jan Arogya Yojana. After successful application, senior citizens of the eligible family will be eligible to avail the benefit of cashless treatment under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana.
All senior citizens of the eligible family will collectively get the benefit of cashless treatment up to Rs 25 lakh. Other family members who are below 70 years of age will not be eligible for this category. Senior citizens will get the facility of cashless treatment as per the prescribed packages in all the private and government medical institutions affiliated under the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana. The cost of treatment will be borne by Rajasthan State Health Insurance Agency. Eligible families registered under other health insurance schemes of the state and country will have to choose the one time option of either their current scheme or Mukhyamantri Ayushman Yojana. To register in the scheme, one will have to contact the ASHA associate and health worker of the area and get the eKYC done. Common people can also register themselves through PMJAY app.
