Rajsamand : Rajsamand Bheem In the incident of fighting outside the Bank of Baroda in the Padav area of the town on Thursday evening over the matter of giving side to the vehicle, hundreds of angry BJP workers and hundreds of people were angry over the allegations of irresponsible attitude of the police by not treating the complainants properly. Villagers in number protested by gheraoing the Bhim police station for several hours since morning on Friday. The villagers became adamant on the demand of arresting the accused and restoring peace in the town and bringing the guilty policemen to line and also gathered in the Dak Bungalow premises. The atmosphere became heated due to the gathering of a large number of people on the highway, due to which the town became a cantonment due to which heavy security was imposed along with top police officers. Later, the matter was calmed down with the advice of the officials.
Regarding the matter, hundreds of villagers gathered outside the police station under the leadership of BJP leaders Ranjit Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Hukam Singh Aapavat, Rajendra Singh, Thakur Singh, Fateh Singh etc. The villagers submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding the arrest of the accused to prevent any untoward incident. Told that due to the irresponsible attitude of the police towards the accused in the police station area, there is a continuous increase in other criminal cases including knife crime. Due to the police not showing seriousness in these matters and the police administration becoming helpless and powerless, there is fear among the common people from the criminals.
Told that even after giving timely information, the police reaches the spot late, due to which the accused who committed the crime get the opportunity and escape from the spot. The villagers alleged that when the applicants go to the police station to file a First Information Report, they are treated rudely and not heard by the police. Due to this, they are forced to file Istgasa and get the case registered through the court. Regarding this, the protesters demanded immediate transfer of the guilty police station officer and policemen and their presence in the line.
