Rajsamand : Rajsamand Nathdwara today, on the second day of Punyashloka Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar tricentenary celebrations, school students in the city took out a rally and presented a drama on the life character of Ahilya Bai. The rally was flagged off by temple board officer Sudhakar Shastri by showing the saffron flag. The rally started from Govardhan Government Higher Secondary School. Starting from the school, the rally went around Telipura, Naya Road, Bus Stand, Iconic Gate, passed through Nani Ji Ka Bagh and reached the school again via Kumharwada via Manak Chowk, Chowpatty, Lal Bazar, Ahilya Kud.
In the rally, the students of Vidya Niketan School were walking with a decorated tableau of Ahilyabai. Students of Government Higher Secondary School Bada Bazaar, Government Higher Secondary Fauj Mohalla, Girls School, Sunrise Academy, Saint Mira, New Rising, Disha Public, Sardar Bhagat Singh Govind Academy, Darshan Public School, Golden Dream School participated in the rally.
Also, educational institutions presented a drama on the life of Ahilyabai in the Higher Secondary School Auditorium. The audience who came to watch the drama program was enthralled. Kavi Sammelan will be organized on Tuesday – Programs are being run from December 1 to December 6 on the tercentenary of the birth of Ahilyabai Holkar. On the third day of the programme, there will be a poet’s conference at Risala Chowk, Nathdwara at 8 pm on Tuesday. In which poet Ram Parinda Manawar, Rahul Bajrangi Indore, Satish Acharya, Neetu Bafna, Rana Rajasthani Chhoti Sadri, Narendra Singh Rawal and Kailash Salvi will recite poems. On Wednesday night, there will be a bhajan evening of bhajan singers Prakash Mali and Divyansu Bhilwara at Rasala Chowk Nathdwara at 8 pm.
