Jammu, December 9 (IANS). Rashtriya Bajrang Dal President Rakesh Bajrangi has filed a complaint against Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Speaking to IANS, he said that Iltija Mufti called him shameful by taking the name of Lord Ram and termed Hindutva as a ‘disease’.
Rakesh Bajrangi said that the way Iltija Mufti has insulted Lord Ram is unbearable. He had posted on social media platform X that “Lord Ram’s head will bow in shame” and described Hindutva as a “disease”. When the media asked him for clarification on this, he said that Hindutva and Hindu religion are different. This is a way of their defense, but it is condemnable.
He has given a complaint to the SSP in this matter and demanded immediate action. He said that Iltija Mufti has hurt the faith of crores of Hindus and has tried to spread unrest in the country with her statement. We should strongly condemn this and strict action should be taken against those making such statements. Rakesh Bajrangi accused Iltija Mufti of making such provocative statements just to garner media headlines. He said that Iltija Mufti is silent on the situation of Bangladeshi Hindus, where riots are taking place, women are being raped and people’s houses are being looted. But she gives statements only to defame Hindutva and get cheap TRP.
She further said that she is a supporter of Pakistan and when the government sacked two employees, she started crying for them. These people stand in support of terrorists, but insulting Hindu religion has become their main objective. Describing Iltija’s statement as serious, he said that the Constitution does not allow anyone to comment about other religions. If I don’t comment on anyone’s religion, I also hope that no one points a finger at my religion. This is our right and we will maintain it at any cost.
Let us tell you that Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, had recently said that Hindutva is a disease. He further said that Hindutva has made millions of Indians sick. It is also tarnishing the name of God. The slogan of Jai Shri Ram is no longer about Ram Rajya. It is used during mob lynching. All kinds of political conflicts are being seen on this statement of Iltija. Reactions to his statement are coming not only from Jammu and Kashmir but from all over the country.
