‘Ram’ Raj’ in the stronghold of ‘Hanuman’ Political strongholds of stalwarts collapsed in Rajasthan by-elections, everyone from Kirori’s brother to Zuber’s son got defeated.

BJP retained Salumber seat in Rajasthan by-election. It was successful in snatching Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh and Deoli-Uniara from Congress and Khinvsar from RLOP. Congress could retain victory only on Dausa seat. Congress lost 3 seats in the by-election. In the 2023 Assembly elections, Congress had won 4 of these seven seats, BJP one, BAP one and RLPA one.

Political strongholds of veteran leaders collapsed

The political strongholds of veteran leaders collapsed in this by-election. Kirori Lal Meena’s brother Jagmohan Meena was in the field in Dausa. Deendayal Bairwa of Congress defeated Jagmohan Meen. Deendayal Bairwa got 75 thousand 5 hundred 36 votes and Jagmahon got 73 thousand 2 hundred 36 votes.

RLP lost from Khinvsar

In Khinvsar, Hanuman Beniwal’s wife Kanika Beniwal had to face defeat from BJP candidate Rewant Ram Danga. Rewant Ram Danga got 1 lakh 8 thousand 628 votes and Kanika Beniwal got 94 thousand 727 votes. Congress candidate Ratan Choudhary, at third position, got only 5454 votes.

Hanuman closed the door

After the defeat of his wife, RLPA chief Hanuman Beniwal came out of the house. He said that Congress and BJP together fought against us. Despite misuse of government machinery, we have got 15 thousand more votes than the last election. Saying this he closed the door. When Revantram Danga got the news of victory, he and his younger brother cried with joy.

BJP defeated Aryan Khan of Congress

BJP’s Sukhwant Singh won from Ramgarh Assembly seat. He defeated Congress’s Aryan Khan. Sukhwant Singh got 1 lakh 8 thousand 811 votes. Aryan Khan got 95 thousand 175 votes. Ramgarh Assembly seat had become vacant after the death of Zuber Khan. Here Congress had made Zuber Khan’s son Aryan Khan a candidate.

Rajendra Bhambu defeated Amit Ol

Rajendra Bhambu of BJP defeated Amit Ola of Congress from Jhunjhunu Assembly seat. Rajendra Bhambu got 90 thousand 4 hundred 25 votes and Amit Ola got 47 thousand 5 hundred 77 votes. Jhujhunu Assembly seat has been considered a stronghold of Congress. Here BJP registered victory after 21 years. Here, Congress MP Brijendra Ola’s son Amit Ola was in the fray, who is the son of MP Brijendra Singh Ola. After the election results, now the number of seats of BJP in the Assembly has increased to 119, while that of Congress has decreased to 66. In the assembly elections, Congress got 70 seats, BJP got 115 seats, RLPA got one and BAP got three seats.
