Ram’s wedding procession took place on Vivah Panchami in Udaipur, marriage festival celebrated

Udaipur : Udaipur Ramhi Chitav Bhayan Jehi Siya, So Sanehu Sukhu Nahin Kathniya… That is, the love and happiness with which Sitaji is looking at Shri Ramchandraji cannot be expressed. This incident was narrated on Vivah Panchami organized at Neelkanth Mahadev Temple Fatehsagar Marg on Friday. On this occasion, devotees took out a procession of Lord Ram and in the temple premises itself, Janaki completed the marriage rituals by putting a garland around Ram’s neck. Before this, Brahmaji wrote Lagan Patrika and sent it to King Dashrath and all the people of Awadh including Dashrath reached Janakpuri.

In this program organized by Shiv Dal, pundits solemnized the marriage of Ram and Janaki in Abhijit Muhurta with chanting of mantras. Shiv Dal chief Manish Mehta said that Ramji’s procession was taken out from UDA Circle. In which the youth were dancing and dancing devotionally. The women were congratulating while singing auspicious songs. The devotees placed the idol of Ramji in a decorated palanquin and carried it on their shoulders and took out a procession. At the front, the devotees were dancing to the beats of drums. Fireworks and flower showers were held on this occasion. The wedding procession was welcomed when it reached Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. The Toran ceremony was performed at the temple gate. Let us tell you that for the first time Ram-Janaki marriage was organized in the temple.
