Rawala police took action against drugs in Sriganganagar, youth arrested

Sriganganagar : Ravla Police took two separate actions against drugs on Tuesday evening. Police arrested two accused in both the cases and also recovered a total of 210 grams of opium and Rs 1.78 lakh. Rawla SHO Balwant Ram said that the police, while taking action near 3 DOL culvert of Rawla village, arrested the accused Nehru Lal (31), son of Zora Singh, resident of 13 DOL. SHO said that 52.57 grams of opium was recovered from accused Nehru Lal on the spot.

He said that a case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act at Rawala police station and the investigation of the case has been handed over to Kalavati, SHO of Gharsana police station. SHO Balwant Ram said that Head Constable Bholu Ram and Constable Nandram have played an important role in this case.

SHO Balwant Ram said that Rawala police took another major action against drug addiction on Tuesday. He told that the police took second action in the house of 8 PSD Hardev Singh Bishnoi of Rawla village. He told that his brother-in-law Dharmendra (29), son of Bhagwan Ram Bishnoi, resident of Danwara (Flute), police station Khedapa, Jodhpur, was arrested from Hardev Singh’s Dhani.

He said that 158.35 grams of opium was recovered from the accused, and Rs 1.78 lakh was recovered from the sale of opium from the accused. He said that a case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act and the investigation of this case has also been handed over to Ghadsana SHO Kalavati Chaudhary. SI Mohan Lal, Constables Akhilesh, Omprakash and Sumit have played an important role in this action.
