Jaipur : There is by-election on 7 assembly seats in Rajasthan. BJP has announced the names of its candidates for 6 seats on October 19. BJP has nominated Jagmohan Meena (brother of Kirori Lal Meena) from Dausa, Rajendra Bhambu from Jhunjhunu, Sukhwant Singh from Ramgarh, Rajendra Gurjar from Deoli Uniara, Revant Ram from Khivasar and Shanta Devi from Salubar. BJP has not yet announced the name of its candidate from Chaurasi. BJP leaders openly protested on four seats.
Opposition to BJP candidates on four seats
BJP leaders have started protesting against the tickets of Jagmohan Meena in Dausa, Rajendra Bhambu in Jhunjhunu, Shanta Devi in Salubar and Sukhwant Singh in Ramgarh. Two youths protested against the ticket of Rajendra Gurjar in Deoli-Uniara. One youth climbed on the water tank and the other on the mobile tower. BJP State President Rajendra Rathod talked to both the youths, even after this both the youths did not come down.
Kirori Lal Meena’s protest in Dausa
BJP leader Devi Singh expressed displeasure over the ticket given to Kirori Lal Meena’s brother Jagmohan Meena in the Dausa assembly by-election of Rajasthan. BJP leader Devi Singh held a press conference and announced to contest the elections as an independent. He said that Dausa assembly seat is a general seat, on which BJP has given ticket to ST candidate. While many candidates from the general category were in the queue, all of them were sidelined.
Bablu Chaudhary announced to contest elections as independent in Jhunjhunu
Bablu Chaudhary has made a big announcement in Jhunjhunu on Sunday. Bablu Chaudhary has rebelled against BJP and announced to contest the elections as an independent against Rajendra Bhambu. He said that he will file his nomination after holding a meeting of thousands of people on October 23. BJP had made Bablu Chaudhary its candidate in 2023. He got 57010 votes. Then Rajendra Bhambu had contested the elections as an independent against BJP. Rajendra Bhambu had secured 41855 votes, while Brijendra Singh Ola of Congress had won by securing 84582 votes.
BJP candidate Shanta Devi opposed in Salumber
BJP has made Shanta Devi its candidate in Salumbar. Shanta Devi is the wife of late MLA Amrit Lal Meena. BJP leader Narendra Meena has come out in protest against this. After the ticket of BJP leader Narendra Meena was canceled from Salumber, a conference of workers was called at Ojasvi Vatika. The workers started crying as soon as they saw them. The society gave him Rs 12 lakh and announced that he would contest the elections.
Five divisional presidents of BJP in Ramgarh announced their resignation.
BJP has made Sukhwant Singh its candidate in Ramgarh assembly by-election of Alwar. In protest against this, former candidates and contenders of BJP started protesting. Sukhwant Singh was opposed in the Sarva Samaj meeting in Ramgarh. All five divisional presidents of BJP announced their resignation. Sukhwant Singh had contested the 2023 elections as a rebel. The party had expelled him from the party for 6 years. Sukhwant Singh again joined BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP workers have expressed their displeasure over making the rebel a candidate.
People from all walks of life held a mahapanchayat in support of Jai Ahuja.
People from all walks of life organized a Mahapanchayat in support of former BJP candidate and BJP contender Jai Ahuja, in which Mandal Presidents of all five divisions of BJP and members of booth level executive were also present in large numbers. Supporters looked emotional after Jai Ahuja did not get the ticket. It was decided to hold a big Mahapanchayat on Tuesday. Only on the decision of the Mahapanchayat will it be decided whether Jai Ahuja will contest the elections as an independent or not. People in the Mahapanchayat say that Sukhwant Singh had left no stone unturned in defeating BJP candidate Jai Ahuja by contesting from Azad Samaj Party in the previous elections.
Youth climbs on water tank in protest against Rajendra Gurjar
Two youths climbed water tanks and mobile towers in Uniara and Ghad on Sunday in protest against the appointment of Rajendra Gurjar as the BJP candidate for Deoli-Uniara seat. Started demanding ticket to Vijay Bainsla. After this the administration and police started explaining. BJP leader spoke to Pramod Meena and Dhanraj Hindu on mobile. Uniyara climbed the water tank near the agricultural market. Dhanraj had climbed the Hindu mobile tower, which is near the bus stand of Dhuankala in Ghad police station area. Vijay Singh was demanding to call Bainsla and BJP state president.
