Recruitment of sanitation workers postponed in Jaipur, consensus reached on demands

The recruitment for the post of cleaning staff of Jaipur : Jaipur Greater and Heritage Corporation has been postponed. This decision was taken in a meeting held on Sunday at the house of Malviya Nagar MLA Kalicharan Saraf in the presence of UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra. After this, the United Valmiki and Safai Workers Union have decided to end the strike that has been going on for the last 7 days in Jaipur. The sanitation workers of Jaipur will return to work from Monday. However, the recruitment process of sanitation workers will continue across the state. Its lottery will be drawn on 7th December.

Recruitment of sanitation workers in Jaipur currently postponed

UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra said – After talking to the Chief Minister, in the meeting held on Sunday, it has been decided to postpone the recruitment of sanitation workers in Jaipur Heritage and Greater Corporation for the time being. Apart from Jaipur, the recruitment process will continue in all the districts of the state and lottery will be held on 7th December.

There will be a meeting soon regarding further process

Malviya Nagar MLA Kalicharan Saraf said- All issues were discussed positively in the meeting held with officials of Valmiki Samaj and Safai Karmachari Union. After this it has been decided that the recruitment of sanitation workers in Jaipur will remain postponed. In such a situation, there will be a meeting soon regarding the further process in the recruitment going to be held in Jaipur. Only after that the final decision will be taken regarding the recruitment of sanitation workers in Jaipur.

Sanitation workers were on strike for the last 7 days

Nandkishore Dandoria, President of United Valmiki and Safai Workers Union, said – For the last 7 days, the sanitation workers of the capital Jaipur were on strike regarding their price demands. Because there has been a big fraud in Jaipur regarding experience certificate. We have also sent evidence of this to UDH Minister and MLA Kalicharan Saraf. After this it has been decided that recruitment in Jaipur will be postponed for the time being. Along with this, in future, sanitation workers will be recruited in Jaipur on contract basis. After this, the sanitation workers of Jaipur who were not working for the last 7 days. From Monday he will once again start making Jaipur clean and beautiful.
