Relatives of those killed in Sambhal violence said, Rahul Gandhi gave assurance but did not provide financial help.

Sambhal, 12 December (IANS). The families of Bilal, Rumaan, Ayaan and Kaif, who were killed in the Sambhal violence in Uttar Pradesh, met Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi in Delhi on Wednesday. After this meeting, the relatives of the deceased claimed that they had not been given any assistance.

According to family members, the meeting with both the MPs was good.

Adnan told, “Yesterday (December 11) we went to Delhi. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi met. It was good to meet both the big leaders. They have assured all possible help. However, at present there is no possibility of any Has not provided any kind of financial assistance. Has received assurance that he will do so further. Bilal, Rumaan, Ayaan, and Kaif were killed in the Sambhal violence on 24 November. Recently, Rahul Gandhi wanted to go to Sambhal and meet the families of those killed. But, he was stopped at Ghazipur border.
