Relief camp organized for nomadic community in Sawai madhopur Bamanwas

Sawai Madhopur : On Wednesday, a camp was organized by the Social and Justice Empowerment Department in the Bamanwas Panchayat Samiti premises for the necessary documents of the nomadic community residing in Bamanwas. In this, along with checking the health of the people, necessary documents were also prepared. The medical department checked blood sugar and blood pressure. Apart from this, caste certificate, Aadhar card and original residence certificate were made.

District Probation and Social Welfare Officer Laxman Singh said that apart from the nomadic community, the common people of the city also reached the camp to avail the benefits. During this period, people from the nomadic community applied for Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Jan Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate, Letter of Native Residence, Ration Card etc. At the same time, the blood sugar, blood pressure etc. of the people who came to the camp were tested free of cost by the medical department and the patients were also examined and distributed. People kept waiting in the camp throughout the day.

During this camp, people were benefited from the public welfare schemes run by the government department for the nomadic community, like foster care, old age pension, widow pension etc. In the camp, blood sugar of 28 people and blood pressure of 28 people were checked by the medical department. Apart from this, caste certificates of 10 people were made. Apart from this, more than 20 applications for Jan Aadhar Aadhar Card, Domicile Certificate and Caste Certificate were received. Officers and employees of Panchayat Committee, Social Welfare Department, Medical Department, City Council Logistics Department, Information Technology Statistics Department were present.
