The night temperature has dropped by 1 degree. Tuesday night was the coldest night of this season. The temperature on Tuesday night was recorded at 7.4 degrees. Whereas on Wednesday the mercury was recorded at 24.3 degrees. There was a difference of 17 degrees in the mercury between day and night. The weather remained clear in the district on Thursday. Also cold winds blew. However, due to increase in maximum temperature, people got relief from cold during the day. But as evening approached, the effect of cold intensified again. If the weather department is to be believed, there will be relief from the cold wave in the coming days.
