State Food and Civil Supplies Minister and regional MLA Sumit Godara is making efforts for this and due to his efforts, improvement is now visible in the CHC. Earlier, patients of every disease had to be referred from here. Now due to increase in staff and other resources, patients are getting relief. Earlier, most of the referral cases were made in cases of delivery. Whereas in the last five months, 227 institutional deliveries have been conducted in CHC.

To monitor the hospital arrangements, Cabinet Minister Godara has nominated Vinod Chopra and Savatram Pachar as members of the Medicare Relief Society. In mutual coordination between the Medicare Relief Society and the hospital management, the facilities have been increased by constructing an air-conditioned waiting hall for the patients in the hospital. In this, seating arrangements have been made for the patients by installing 6 steel chairs. Apart from this, the slip distribution room has been enlarged and two counters have been installed. An ambulance worth about Rs 11.60 lakh has been operated from the MLA fund for the convenience of the patients. However, the hospital management’s neglect for nearly three years was rampant. Medicare Relief Society member Vinod Chopra said that the ambulance, which was started from July 4, 2024, has so far proved to be lifesaving for about 65 serious patients. While improving the mortuary arrangements, a big de-freeze was purchased from CHC to store the dead bodies.
Sub district hospital will be built soon
Due to the efforts of Cabinet Minister Godara, it has been announced in the last budget to give the status of sub-district hospital to Lunkaransar CHC and the process of identifying a place for building a sub-district hospital is under consideration. In such a situation, there is a possibility of construction of the building soon.
