Jhunjhun : Pachalangi. Many religious programs were organized in temples and homes on the occasion of Mokshada Ekadashi festival in the village on Wednesday. Special puja and Ekadashi Katha was organized in other Thakur ji temples including Gopalji, Gopinathji, Janakivallabh temple and Gayatri temple of Mawata in the town. According to belief, Lord Shri Krishna had preached Geeta to Arjuna on the day of Mokshada Ekadashi. Therefore this Ekadashi is also celebrated as Geeta Jayanti. Special worship of Lord Vishnu and Lakshmiji was done on Mokshada Ekadashi. The text of Geeta was read. Special decoration of Thakurji was done in temples and Laddu Gopal ji was done in homes. Prasad was distributed after Maha Aarti.
Chaupai of Ramcharitmanas echoed in Anantram Dham
