Union President Mohanlal Sihag said that about 466 pulses units are operating in the state. . In this, till the end of the year, due to non-availability of goods for pulses for about two to three months, it has to be made available from other states. The processing units here have to be run continuously throughout the year, which provides employment to the accountants, laborers and other people here. In order for these units to run smoothly, traders complete the supply by purchasing goods from outside Rajasthan. The Rajasthan government imposes 16 percent mandi tax on pulses and 0.50 paise on bringing pulses from outside the state. Farmer welfare fees will have to be paid. Such notification has been issued.
