Buxar, 24 November (IANS). Bihar Government Public Relations Department Minister Maheshwari Hazari, who was on a one-day visit to Buxar, said regarding the Jharkhand Assembly election results that his alliance respects the mandate, but we will review our defeat in the elections.
Talking to journalists, Minister Maheshwari Hazari said that in democracy the public is the master, we respect its decision. Just as we have won all four seats in Bihar, similarly they have won in Jharkhand. Everyone should respect the mandate. I thank the public.
He said that for the defeat in Jharkhand, the top leadership needs to review the reasons that led to the defeat. We have to recognize our weaknesses and remove them. We have to understand why the people of Jharkhand did not support us.
Hazari said that once upon a time Bihar was known only for Lalu, sand and potatoes. It took a whole day to travel 50 kilometers by road. But today we can travel from one corner of Bihar to another in five to six hours. All this has been possible because of our leader Nitish Kumar. He thinks for the entire community. He is the first Chief Minister who has worked to benefit the people standing last in the queue.
He said that due to Nitish Kumar, there has been overall development in Bihar. People of every class and community have been uplifted. The government is paying more attention to the development of the Dalits and deprived sections. Because of them the deprived class has joined the mainstream of development. People from Dalit community are holding good positions in government and administration.
