Results will be in the interest of ‘India’ block and the country: TS Singh Deo

Varanasi, November 22 (IANS). Former Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh T.S. Singh Dev spoke to IANS on Friday. He has reacted on various issues including the results of Jharkhand and Maharashtra assembly elections on 23 November.

The results of Jharkhand and Maharashtra assembly elections will come on Saturday. The former Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh expressed confidence that on November 23, results will come in the interest of the country and the ‘India’ block.

On Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s comparison of US President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the former Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh has said that Joe Biden has grown old and is still the President of America. I understand that Rahul Gandhi’s statement should not be taken so seriously.

The former Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh, who was on a visit to Varanasi to attend a wedding ceremony, said on the allegations of stopping voters from voting during the by-elections on nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, that if the police did not allow them to vote by threatening them with guns, then he would do so. this is so wrong. Some people are intoxicated with power that they just want power.

The slogan ‘Bantenge to Katenge’ was given by Yogi Adityanath in Maharashtra elections, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar did not support this slogan. On this, the former Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed the slogan, “If we are one then we are safe”. Yogi Adityanath’s slogan was rejected by Ajit Pawar, who was part of the Mahayuti. This is a wrong kind of mentality.

When asked whether people are dividing the country, T.S. Singh Dev has said that BJP has now understood that if it wants to remain in power then its only base is Hindu-Muslim. When BJP’s number in the Lok Sabha was two, Advani ji took out Rath Yatra. Babri Masjid was demolished in Ayodhya. After this incident the number of BJP MPs started increasing. We saw that NDA government was formed twice. Both times BJP got more seats than majority. After this BJP decided that if it wants to come to power then this is the only way. Now these people want to separate Hindu-Muslim. This is what BJP wanted to do in Karnataka. But today’s voter is aware and BJP lost in Karnataka. Ram temple was built in Ayodhya. There was a lot of publicity. But BJP lost there also during the Lok Sabha elections.

Young leaders are now commenting on big leaders. What kind of politics is this? On this, the former Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh has said that if the youth are stopped from going on the wrong path then their future lies in it. The youth should come forward and correct these things. Change in democracy must happen through votes.
