Results will not be in favor of Congress, it is their habit to blame EVMs: Kedarnath Kashyap

Raipur, 22 November (IANS). Chhattisgarh Minister Kedarnath Kashyap has claimed the victory of NDA in Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections. He has attributed this to the policies of the Centre. According to him, the priority of the government is to take development work forward and it is working in the interest of the public.

Speaking to the media, the Cabinet Minister of Chhattisgarh Government said that Congress always claims victory. The unfortunate thing is that they give orders to the tent vendors and sweet vendors but get disappointed when they are not able to register a win. It has become a habit of the Congress party to blame EVMs after the defeat. Congress may celebrate as much as it wants today but tomorrow it is going to be disappointed.

He further said that I inspected the paddy procurement center yesterday. Paddy is being procured very well. Chhattisgarh has asked for Rs 17 thousand crores from the Centre. We have our government at the center and we have to take benefits from the center. The double engine government is continuously working in the interest of farmers. The priority of our government is to carry forward the development work. We are getting full support from the central government. Our Chief Minister had just gone to Nitin Gadkari ji and has given a gift of Rs 20 thousand crores.

Cabinet Minister Kedarnath Kashyap further said that our government is taking action against illegal conversion. Any illegal thing will be dealt with strictly as per the law. Illegal conversion is not just the work of the government but also a social issue. Society is becoming more aware of it and the situation is expected to improve further.

On Amarjeet Bhagat’s statement regarding alcohol, Kedarnath Kashyap said that it is completely wrong. Serving liquor is not the job of the Bharatiya Janata Party government. As far as Amarjeet Bhagat is concerned, he was in the government for five years, he should answer.
