Ajmer : Uttarakhand Bike rider Noni, resident of Kashipur, is on a bike tour across India under the Stop Crime Against Women campaign. In Ajmer, two youths attacked him for toileting his pet kitten. In this matter, Noni has given a complaint to the Ganj police station of Ajmer. However, the attackers later apologized.
Controversy over toileting a kitten
Rider Pooja told that on September 26, she and her companion Mohit had reached Ajmer while riding from Jodhpur. As soon as she stopped to let her kitten go to the toilet on Pushkar Road in Ajmer, a person objected to it. He also threatened to leave from there. During this time the matter worsened and they pushed Pooja.
The attackers folded their hands and apologized to the rider.
Pooja told that some people even raised their hands on her and kicked her kitten. In this case, Pooja gave the footage of the camera installed on her helmet to the Ganj police station and said that legal action would be taken against both the persons. Police checked the video footage in which two persons are seen pushing and shoving Pooja. On the basis of the video, both the persons were called to the police post. Where due to fear of police action, both the persons were seen joining hands with rider Pooja and her partner Mohit and apologizing for the mistake committed by them.
On campaign regarding women empowerment and stop women crime
Under the women empowerment and Stop Against Women campaign, rider Noni along with her partner Mohit has set out on a tour of the country on 10 September 2024. Through this journey, she is raising her voice on the atrocities against women in the society.
