Jaipur : Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit will be organized from December 9 at JECC located in Sitapura, Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit. The JECC campus has been converted into a cantonment for the security of the Prime Minister’s visit to Jaipur and the summit. Tight arrangements have been made in the city by the police and administration. A three-day Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit will be organized from December 9 at JECC located in Sitapura, capital Jaipur. While the summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many guests and industrialists from India and abroad will also attend the summit. In such a situation, the police have made strict security arrangements. The JECC campus has been converted into a cantonment by the police. About 4 thousand policemen including 11 IPS officers will take charge of the security of the summit. Apart from this, command has also been given to 2 IPS and other police officers for the traffic arrangements during the event.
Regarding the security arrangements of the summit organized in the capital, the top officials of Jaipur Police Commissionerate have finalized the security arrangements by holding a meeting with the central security agencies. 11 IPS, 36 Additional SP, 67 Deputy SP, 182 Inspectors, 320 SI-ASI, 2750 police personnel and 4 company RAC have been deployed for the security of the summit. Around 1200 policemen including 2 IPS have been deployed for traffic management. A three-tier security cordon has been prepared for the security of Prime Minister Modi.
Policemen in plain uniform have been deployed in major areas of the city regarding the event. Besides, intensive investigation is also being done in hotels-guest houses, railway stations and bus stands. Policemen have been deployed on high-rise buildings, while surveillance is also being done through CCTV cameras. The police-administration seems to be fully prepared for the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit being organized in the capital. Following instructions from the police headquarters, the area has been converted into a cantonment and every activity is being monitored. The police have also made full preparations to make the event a success by activating the intelligence system.
