Road will be built from Bikaner Circle to Ambedkar Bhawan, will cost Rs 2.35 crore

Bikaner : Bikaner Two years ago the furniture road caved in. The Municipal Corporation could not build it in two years. About 50 thousand people pass through here every day. The expenditure is only Rs 25 lakh. It is surprising that the roads of the entire city including Gangashahar, Pawanpuri, Vyas Colony, Muralidhar Vyas Colony, Hanumanhatta, Ginnani are not being repaired. But the road from Deendayal Circle to Ambedkar Bhawan and Mayor House has become so important that two departments each are kind. Both the departments together have floated tenders worth Rs 2.35 crore on this road.

Deendayal Circle to Karninagar road scheme area. This is UIT area. UIT floated two tenders worth Rs 90 lakh. It is also true that this road is sunken and broken at many places. But the Municipal Corporation issued a tender for installing tiles and dividers worth Rs 1.45 crore on this road, whereas this work was to be done by UIT. 1064 of the Municipal Corporation’s own roads are broken. Apart from the main road of Gangashahar, Bhinasar, Shriramsar, Muralidhar, Pawanpuri, Vyas Colony, there is not a single internal road which does not have potholes. UIT has floated the tender to build the road from Deendayal Circle to Ambedkar Bhawan. Whereas, the corporation has floated the tender from Deendayal Circle to Mayor House. A dispute has also started in the Municipal Corporation on this tender.

Anaj Mandi to Lalgarh Station Road

On the one kilometer long road from Muktaprasad intersection to Lalgarh railway station, there is not even a five meter stretch where there is no pothole. Most of the roads from Sriganganagar Road Anaj Mandi to Muktaprasad, Sarvodaya Basti Road, Jaisalmer Road, Kothari Hospital Road, Jassusar Gate to MM Ground, Jawahar Nagar, Antyodaya Nagar, Muralidhar Colony Road to Nathussar Gate are in bad condition. The road from Kothari Hospital to Jassusar Gate has been broken for a year. It normally takes 3 minutes to cover the approximately one kilometer long route from MM Ground on Jaisalmer Road via Jawahar Nagar. But, due to potholes it is taking 10 to 12 minutes.

Duplex Colony, Pawanpuri Road

The condition of the roads of Pawanpuri is the worst. The road leading from Shani Temple to Nagnechi Temple in front of the water tank is dilapidated. Recently, some pits were filled by adding soil. But now the soil has disappeared from them. There are more than 40 potholes on the road of about 300 meters leading to the main market from the park built in Nagnechiji Scheme in Pawanpuri, ahead of Shastri Nagar. There are such deep potholes at four-five places on this road that it has become difficult for a four wheeler to pass. There is not a single road built in the streets of the posh colony which is completely fine.

Patel Nagar, Khaturia Colony Road

The residents here are troubled by the dilapidated roads for the last five years. The entire road from Patel Nagar to Vallabh Garden is full of potholes. Even walking here has become risky. Local residents sprinkle water on the roads to avoid flying dust. Most of the roads in Khaturia Colony are broken except the roads around the MP Seva Kendra. A pothole will be found after covering a distance of 10-12 meters from Vyas Colony Police Station on the main road leading to Patel Nagar. The condition of Patel Nagar and Khaturia Colony is bad and people are facing difficulty in breathing due to the dust blowing from the roads. Despite this, the administration has not paid attention to this.

Ranibazar to Gangashahar Road

People going to many areas including Railway Station, PBM Hospital, Gangashahar, Industrial Area have to pass through Ranibazar. The roads at this main intersection are broken and the colonies are filled with water. There is a jam, due to which there is a queue of vehicles. If you leave the main highway via Ranibazar and go to Gangashahr, the roads near Chopra School are in bad condition and people are troubled by potholes. It is also full of water. The condition of street number five is such that the road in the middle has been dug up and filled with soil. Due to this, not only has the level of the road been disturbed, but the drivers are also having to avoid it. The road near Gandhi Chowk is in a bad condition.

Bikaner The people of Bikaner expressed confidence in the BJP candidates in the assembly elections and got both the east and west assembly seats of the city nominated in their names. When a new government was formed, hopes were raised that the common people would get relief from their problems. The political scenario in the city changed. When the new government was formed, the bureaucracy also changed. But, even after a year has passed, the situation in the city has not changed and the common people are still facing problems like broken roads, potholes, sewerline overflows. The condition of the roads is worst. There is no one to take care in the main markets and posh colonies. Administration, PWD, Municipal Corporation and UIT officials had assured to build roads after the rains.
