Jalore : Administrative and financial approval of Rs 2 crore has been issued by the government for the construction of broken and dilapidated roads in Jalore. An approval of Rs 1 crore has been issued in Bhinmal Municipality area. An approval of Rs 40 lakh each has been issued for the construction of roads in the newly created Municipality Ahor and Sayla Municipality area. This includes construction of 1100 meter road from Sayla Bhilwadi to State Highway-16 and 3240 meter road construction on Kachha Kamba Marg.
Collector Dr. Pradeep K. Gawande said that the Local Government Department has issued approval of Rs 317.50 crore for a total of 295 works in 56 urban bodies through PWD. Under this, a total approval of Rs 3.80 crore has been issued for Jalore Municipal Council and Bhinmal, Ahor and Sayla Municipality areas in Jalore district. A total of 4 works have been approved in these four bodies. 5 works have been approved in Bhinmal. Approval for construction of a road worth Rs 3 crore has been issued in Sanchore Municipal Council and Raniwada Municipality of Sanchore district. Approval of Rs 2 crore has been received for 5 works of total 3320 meter road in Sanchore and Rs 1 crore has been approved for one 1100 meter road in Raniwada Municipality area.
