Roadways were busy on Diwali, 100% passenger load in buses every day

Jaipur : Roadways also became silver on Diwali festival. Roadways buses have been running overloaded for the last five days. Hundred percent passenger load is coming in the buses. This has affected the income of roadways. Sindhi Cap bus stand generally earns up to Rs 22 lakh. Due to rush of passengers on Diwali, additional income has increased to Rs 15 lakh in the last 5 days. Income on Sindhi Cap has reached Rs 37 lakh.

Hundred percent load, operation of additional buses

The Roadways Administration also operated more than a hundred additional buses from Sindhi Camp in view of the possibility of increase in passenger load. The highest passenger load was on Agra and Delhi routes. If officials are to be believed, the passenger load which started a day before Diwali will continue till the second day of Bhai Dooj. The most important thing is that despite the reduction in the number of buses, the roadways has earned two lakh rupees more income than last Diwali. Last year, the Diwali income at Sidhi Camp was Rs 35 lakh. This has resulted in an income of Rs 2 lakh more, amounting to Rs 37 lakh.

Advance booking in deluxe buses

Hundred percent passenger load was seen on the occasion of Diwali in the new buses started by Roadways on the Delhi route. Before Diwali, there was a crowd of people coming from Delhi to Jaipur. After Diwali, a crowd of people going from Jaipur to Delhi was seen. The situation is that the passengers had made advance booking in the Delhi bound buses of Deluxe Depot four to five days in advance. Even today most of the buses going to Delhi are full.
