Kota : Late Saturday night, the doctor husband of RPS along with his friends vandalized a hotel located on Kota Road in the city. He also beat up the operator and the staff. The operator says that the doctor had demanded beer from the staff late at night. When refused, he beat them up. The doctor says that the hotel staff behaved indecently with the lady doctor who had come with him. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the hotel. Both the parties have lodged a complaint in this regard at the Kotwali police station. A workshop of doctors was organized by a pharmaceutical company in the hotel late Saturday night. Dr. Deepak Nagar, husband of RPS Pooja Nagar posted at Baran district headquarters, also came to the workshop with some of his colleagues. Nagar is a pediatrician in the district hospital. After the programme was over some doctors left after having food, while Nagar and some of his friends remained there. They asked for beer from the hotel staff. When they were refused, they started creating ruckus. First they quarreled with the staff. Then when they went to explain, they were beaten up. They vandalized the hotel. On the other hand, doctor Deepak Nagar says that the hotel staff misbehaved with a lady doctor. When they went to the lower floor to inform the hotel owner about the incident, they got into a scuffle after an altercation. The hotel staff brought out sticks. During the scuffle, glass broke there.
The gunman took away the RPS car
After the incident, both the parties reached the police station to lodge a report. RPS’s gunman Rajesh and driver also reached there with the government vehicle. They misbehaved with a media person in the police station by threatening him. Regarding the incident, on Sunday evening, SP Rajkumar Chaudhary suspended the female RPS officer’s gunman Rajesh. Chaudhary said that the gunman has been suspended for snatching the media person’s phone etc. Cases have been registered by both the parties.
Counter charges
The media person was stopped from making the video thinking he was a hotel staff. The allegations of misbehavior are false.
The hotel staff behaved indecently with him. After this, there was a ruckus.
At night, I had sent my car to the Kotwali police station for some official work. There, a person was making a video and the staff stopped him.
