However, due to not following the government guidelines, people associated with the scheme are not able to get its benefits. In Rajasthan, LPG gas cylinder is provided for Rs 450 to the families associated with the National Food Security Scheme (NFSA). This scheme was started by the state government from September 1. But despite this many people are not getting its benefits.
What is the guideline for Rs 450 gas cylinder?
Some people think that a gas cylinder is available for Rs 450. In such a situation, they come to get gas but first of all they have to know whether you are eligible for it or not. Under the rules, gas consumers should be linked to Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, BPL, National Food Security Act. If you are associated with them then after this you will also have to get KYC done. To get LPG cylinder for Rs 450, people will have to provide Aadhaar number and gas connection information. For this, people will have to go to the ration dealer and get this data added in the Posh machine.
Even after doing all this, some people come to buy gas cylinder for Rs 450 due to lack of information. But according to the rules, the consumer will have to pay the full amount for the gas. After this, after deducting Rs 450, the subsidy amount will come directly into the consumer’s bank account. For this, bank account will also have to be linked. Consumer can get e-KYC done with e-Mitra and dealer, in which the bank account will be updated. Gas connection documents will have to be shown while getting KYC done. After providing all the information related to gas connection, subsidy under the scheme will start.
