New Delhi, November 16 (IANS). BJP leader and former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh has reacted strongly to Congress leader Hussain Dalwai calling Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) a terrorist organisation. In a special conversation with IANS on Friday, he said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) does not need any certificate from anyone.
Jairam Thakur said that this statement is completely baseless and shows that some people use such derogatory words because of their weak knowledge. We need to change this mentality, because these are just things said for immediate gain, which have no solid basis.
Emphasizing the contribution of RSS, he said that from the country’s independence till today, the Sangh has done many important works for social service, nation building and public welfare, which no one can deny. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has an incomparable contribution in the development of the country. The Sangh has always worked for the development of the society and contributed to the strength of the country. This is the mentality of those who are jealous of the success of those who do good work. When they see that an organization or individual is moving towards success, they just feel like spreading negativity.”
He said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh does not want any certificate from anyone. The work of the Sangh and its contribution speaks for itself. We are confident in our principles and actions and will continue to pursue them. The bankruptcy of the minds of those who make such statements has been exposed. Such things are said only to present the RSS and its workers in a negative light. But we are not afraid of anyone. We believe in our work and this will keep us moving forward.
In the end he said that our focus is only on social service, nation building and public welfare works, and we will try to bring positive changes in the society through those works. The contribution of RSS will always be important in this direction.
