Rules are being flouted in Chittorgarh, Excise department is sleeping by selling horses

Chittorgarh : Liquor is being sold from shops even after 8 pm in Chittorgarh city, defying the rules and regulations of the government. The shutters of the shop are lowered to show off, but there is a salesman standing outside who keeps selling illegally throughout the night. During this time, higher prices are also charged from the customers, but the officials of the responsible departments have turned a blind eye to this. The result of the silence of the officials is that the liquor sellers are fearlessly selling liquor even after the stipulated time. On Thursday night, liquor was being sold at shops in Station Road, Railway Station, Senti, Pratap Nagar etc. areas of the city even after the stipulated time.

The customer understood the salesman.

When the team was covering liquor being sold after 8 pm at a contract near the Excise Department, the salesman became a little suspicious. He came to the photojournalist and said – Why are you standing here, what do you want? However, the photojournalist made an excuse and left from there.

The rule is to open only till 8 pm

The timings for liquor shops in the state have been fixed from 10 am to 8 pm. There is a provision for action against shopkeepers who sell liquor after the stipulated time. However, due to the negligence of the responsible officials, the morale of these shopkeepers is high.
