Bharatpur : There was a dispute between two parties regarding Chowmeen’s money in Khanwan village of Bharatpur-Ghanauli Mode police station area. During the dispute, the shopkeeper was attacked with sticks, sticks, rods and axes. People from the shopkeeper’s side also gathered. Both sides pelted stones at each other. In this dispute, the shopkeeper and his younger brother were seriously injured, who were referred to the district RBM Hospital for treatment, where the shopkeeper was declared dead. Treatment of the injured younger brother is continuing. Police have taken five people into custody.
An altercation broke out when Chowmin asked for money.
Injured Ram Gopal told, “I set up a chow mein cart near the Khanwa bus stand. On Wednesday (10 October) around 8 pm, elder brother Jitendra, son of Raghunath Singh was at the cart. At that time, Bhammu’s son from the same village came to buy chow mein. When Jeetendra asked the boy for money, he refused. There was an argument among themselves regarding this matter.”
10-12 people gathered and attacked
Ram Gopal told, “After a mutual altercation, Bhammu’s son left with the cart. After some time, he brought 10-12 people with him. They were armed with sticks, rods and axes. As soon as they arrived, they attacked Jeetendra. When I went to save my brother Jeetendra, our family members gathered and ran away, leaving me and my brother dead. “I am undergoing treatment at RBM hospital.”
Police force deployed in the village
On receiving information about the incident, Gahanauli police station reached the spot. Seeing the situation, Uchchain CO Anil Doria also reached the spot and called Rudawal and Uchchain police station to the spot. At present, police force has been deployed to maintain peace in the village.
Police detained five people
Angry family members blocked the Bharatpur-Dholpur road late at night demanding the arrest of the accused. The local administration officials explained to the family of the deceased and assured that the accused would be arrested soon, after which the family of the deceased agreed and opened the jam. Gahnoli Mode police station in-charge Uday Chand Meena said that the post-mortem of the body of deceased Jitendra is being conducted by the board. Five people have been detained.
