Jaipur : Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Wednesday fiercely targeted MP Anurag Thakur. He said that the kind of words used by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Anurag Thakur in the Lok Sabha are reprehensible. He said that people sitting in Parliament should not use such language. Pilot, former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, expressed his views here while talking to reporters in Tonk. He said, ‘I am very sorry about the kind of statements made in the House yesterday. Rahul Gandhi was targeted by the opposition leaders… Talking about caste, religion, society does not suit the parliamentary system.’

BJP could not digest the defeat in states like UP and Rajasthan

He said that ‘BJP is not able to digest the results of Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra. That is why it is targeting Rahul Gandhi. The kind of words used by Anurag Thakur inside the House yesterday (Tuesday) are condemnable.’ Pilot said, ‘I think no one should use this kind of language, especially those who are sitting in Parliament.’ It is noteworthy that Anurag Thakur had given a controversial statement on the issue of caste census, cornering the opposition and Rahul Gandhi. During this, he said that the one whose caste is not known talks about caste census.

Khiladi Lal Bairwa spoke on the issue of leaving BJP

On the recent resignation of former Congress MLA Khiladi Lal Bairwa from BJP, Pilot said, “I think there will be many more people who will not be able to fit in that system. Bairwa joined BJP this year.” The Congress leader said that if any party has the ideology of taking everyone along, then it is in the Congress party. He said, “The biggest promise of the Congress party was that we will conduct a census, secondly we will make a law for minimum support price (MSP) for farmers. Both things were rejected by the central government and they will have to bear the brunt of it because this is the demand of the public.”
