Jaipur : Congress leader Sachin Pilot, who returned to Jaipur after the completion of Maharashtra Assembly election campaign, on Tuesday evening made a scathing attack on BJP regarding Tonk violence as well as Vinod Tawde’s viral video. On the allegations against BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde of distributing money to voters, Pilot said – Voting for the assembly elections is to be held in Maharashtra tomorrow. BJP and the ruling party are trying all kinds of tricks to win the elections. Violence is being resorted to. Money is being distributed openly. Sachin Pilot further said that BJP’s National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been caught with money. The Election Commission should take impartial action, the public is watching the kind of work the leaders of the ruling party are doing.

Meanwhile, Pilot also responded to the incident of Deoli Uniara’s independent candidate Naresh Meena slapping the SDM and the subsequent violence in Tonk’s Samravata. Sachin Pilot said, “Earlier it was heard that there will be a judicial inquiry on the Samravata violence but now they are saying that the Divisional Commissioner will investigate it, I don’t know what the government wants… The investigation should be about whether this incident was done deliberately. The atmosphere was spoiled to benefit whom?”
Divisional Commissioner will not reveal the result of investigation: Pilot
On the announcement of investigation at the divisional commissioner level by the Rajasthan government in the Tonk violence case, Pilot said – If the matter has to be investigated impartially, then there should have been a judicial inquiry into the entire incident. No result is going to emerge from the Divisional Commissioner’s investigation. He also said that how will the government officials investigate the misdeeds of their own officials?
Pilot also said that violence is wrong no matter who it is or which party it belongs to. I had said it earlier also, I am saying it again that I am not with the person who commits violence. Regarding Rajasthan Assembly by-elections, Sachin Pilot said- Congress is winning on all seven seats.

Meanwhile, on the allegation of cash distribution in Mumbai, BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde said, “Today, when I was passing through that area, our candidate Rajan Naik called me to have tea and I went there. There were 200-250 booths.” Hitendra Thakur and his son said that their party workers also came and created a ruckus.
Vinod Tawde further said that there is nothing wrong in meeting a worker who works day and night for the party.
