Salute to the spirit of this daughter of Rajasthan, PM Modi has also praised her, know more

Ajmer : Maa… I want to do something, I want to become something. I want my career because I want to be self-dependent. I don’t want to go ahead and say that I had brains, I had ability, I gave up my dreams just because I am differently abled, not disabled. There are a little more challenges for me, but I will do them, it will take some time, I will work hard and if I have your support, then everything will be fine. These are the words of… 22-year-old Nandini Gaur, whose both hands and legs don’t work. She is completely dependent on her parents. After schooling from open school, she is studying BA second year from a private college. Instead of sitting alone at home, she decided to make a career through painting. For the last two years, she has been drawing, painting on canvas and making portraits. People are surprised to see the passion of Nandini who cannot even hold pencil-brush with her hands. She is making many artworks by holding pencil and brush with her mouth.

I learn from the internet, there is no guru

Nandini says that she learns from the internet. I do not have any teacher nor did I learn drawing in childhood. On the advice of painter and Mandana artist Sanjay Sethi, she created an artwork on the completion of 100 episodes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat episode which was tweeted by MP Bhagirath Chaudhary and the Prime Minister also re-tweeted.

created this artwork

In the lamp, a picture of Ram Mandir and Lord Ram, a picture of the Prime Minister, a picture of a Kalbanian dancer on a plate and miniature art have been made. A miniature art of a South Indian dancer has been made. Eight yoga postures have been made on Yoga Day.

Such a desire arose

When I was young, I used to make greeting cards.. After that I made a collage of my father’s photo, made paintings on Diwali lamps. Then I felt that I can make a career in this. After this, I never looked back.

Parents and sister encourage me

Father Prakash Gaur, a resident of Kisan Colony, Vaishali Nagar, works in events. Mother Seema Sharma is a housewife and sister Kritika is doing PhD. All three encourage Nandini. If she has to go anywhere outside or even inside the house, she takes the help of a wheel chair.

this is the dream

In the future, I want to hold an exhibition of my artworks. I want to form a club or NGO for disabled or differently abled young men and women like me and work for them so that I can show them a new path and work with many people like me who are frustrated or disappointed with their physical condition.
