Sambhal Jama Masjid report not presented, next hearing on January 8

Sambhal, 29 November (IANS). The report of Sambhal Jama Masjid survey of Uttar Pradesh could not be presented in the District Court on Friday. The Court Commissioner asked for 10 days’ time stating that the report was not complete. The report will now be presented on December 8. The next hearing of the case will be on January 8.

Court Commissioner Ramesh Chandra Raghav said that the survey report has not been completed yet. Has sought 10 days’ time from the court. The hearing of this case will take place on January 8. He told that violence took place during the first survey on 19 November and the second survey on 24, due to which the report could not be completed. Today she could not even gather. Due to this, time has been sought from the court.

Shahi Jama Masjid Committee’s advocate said that we appeared in the court on behalf of the mosque and requested that copies of documents related to the case be given to us and the court gave the same order. The survey report was not submitted today. The survey team has demanded extension of time to submit the report. The advocate told that the court has asked for a copy of the plaintiff’s plaint and all the documents attached with it. The application has been installed. The court has fixed the hearing of this case on January 8.

It may be noted that after the claim of Sambhal’s Jama Masjid being Harihar Temple, four people died in the violence that broke out during the second phase of survey being conducted in the mosque and the situation worsened due to injuries to police and administration people.
