Chittorgarh : The donation box was opened in the famous Shri Sanwaliya Seth Temple of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan on October 1 and till now the counting of notes worth Rs 16 crore 98 lakh 80 thousand 926 has been completed in five phases. During the counting conducted in the same temple last month, a partnership agreement of a devotee with the Lord was also revealed.
Sanwalia Seth made legal partner
According to this agreement, after his wish is fulfilled, the devotee has made Sanwaliya Seth as his legal partner. Regarding this, he has also made an agreement with Sanwaliya Seth on stamp paper. According to this, whatever profit he makes every month, he will give 10 percent of it to Sanwaliya Seth Temple. This devotee is a resident of Jaipur. But his name and the identity of his business have been kept confidential. He has also prepared it on stamp paper of Rs 50.
Donation box opened for counting monthly amount
On the Chaturdashi of the last Krishna Paksha at Shri Sanwaliya Seth Temple, after the Rajbhog Aarti, the donation box of Shri Sanwaliya Seth Temple was opened in the presence of the temple board administration and the temple board president and members. In the first phase of counting, notes worth Rs 7 crore 32 lakh 49 thousand 5 hundred were counted. The donation amount was not counted in the temple due to the monthly fair on Amavasya the next day. After this, counting of notes started in the second phase on October 4. In which donation amount of Rs 3 crore 65 lakh 80 thousand was counted. After this, counting took place in the third, fourth and fifth phases. So far, counting of notes worth Rs 16 crore 98 lakh 80 thousand 926 has been completed in five phases.
Last month, offerings worth more than Rs 19 crore were made.
Out of this amount, devotees of Shri Sanwaliya Seth have donated Rs 3 crore 64 lakh 1 thousand 373 online and in the donation room. The counting of coins taken out from the donation box is yet to be done. One kg 57 grams of gold and 88 kg 812 grams of silver have also been received as offerings from the donation box and offering room. Let us tell you that the amount taken out from the donation box of the temple is counted under tight security. The counting venue is continuously monitored through digital cameras including CCTV. Last month, an amount of more than Rs 19 crore was withdrawn from the donation box of the temple.
