Sawai Madhopur : Lions Club Garima organized a free eye treatment (lens transplant) camp at CP Hospital, Jaipur Road. In the camp, after examining the eyes of the patients, 196 patients suffering from cataract were operated on free of cost and lens implants were performed.
Lions Club Garima President Pankaj Mangalam and Lions Club Gangapur City Dignity Secretary Om Aggarwal said that 196 patients got benefit in the free eye transplant camp in the camp organized by the club. In the camp, Lions Club Garima Secretary Om Agarwal, Shashikant Shukla, Sachin Bansal, Somvrat Agarwal etc. members distributed fruits and biscuits to the patients and helped in keeping the arrangements smoothly. Treasurer of Lions Club Garima, Somvrat Aggarwal said that the camp has been organized for many years. Publicity is also being done by the club so that more and more patients get benefit from the camps being conducted by the club.
Free testing camp organized A free medical check-up camp was organized by Lions Club Disha on Sunday in the playground of Government Higher Secondary School. Program coordinators Dimple Sharma and Mayank Jaimini said that in this testing camp, all tests of blood pressure, blood sugar and weight were done free of cost. Also, the timing of the testing camp was from 6 am to 8 am. During this period, 120 people were examined free of cost in the camp. Club Secretary Vaibhav Dubey told that on behalf of Lions Club Disha, free testing camps are organized at various places in the city on the first Sunday of every month. At the end of the program, president Alok Maldhani and club members greeted the collection center team and presented mementos.
