Sawai Madhopur : A 4-year-old girl who had come with her mother to her grandmother in Bairwa Basti of Dabich village of Khandar police station area of Sawai Madhopur, died due to drowning in water. The family is saddened by the death of the girl. According to Inspector Lal Bahadur Singh Meena of Khandar police station, the deceased girl is Kittu, 4-year-old daughter of Manoj Bairwa, resident of Barod. The girl had come with her mother to her grandmother’s house in Dabich Bairwa colony. The girl had left her grandmother’s house in the morning to go to the shop to buy crisps. There is a deep and big water pit on this path, in which a lot of water collects.
The village water also flows and collects in this pit. While going to the shop, perhaps the girl’s foot slipped and she fell into a pit with deep water. When the girl did not reach home for a long time, the family members searched for the girl in the village and surrounding areas, but no trace of the girl was found. On receiving the information, Khandar police station also reached the spot. After which the police and villagers started searching for the girl on the basis of her footprints. Then the girl’s footprints were found towards the water pit.
After which the police called the diving team from the district headquarters. The team conducted a search operation in the water of the pit. During this time the dead body of the girl was seen. After a lot of hard work, the diving team took out the body of the girl from the water of the pit. Police took the girl’s body into custody and sent it to Khandar CHC for post-mortem. Where after post-mortem, the police handed over the body of the girl to the family members.
