Sawai Madhopur News Desk: In connection with the area domination campaign being run at the range level, Baunli police station has arrested Mahendra, the accused in the case of obstruction in government work who was absconding for about one and a half years. This action was taken by ASI Roop Singh and SDM Tirahe under the leadership of SHO Radharaman Gupta under the direction of SP Mamta Gupta.
ASI Roop Singh said that on February 4, 2023, Mining Officer AP Singh had gone with the team to Hathdoli village to take action against illegal gravel transportation. During this period, the Mining Department team had seized three tractor trolleys. Meanwhile, three accused snatched the seized tractor trolley from the department team and also pelted stones at the department team. Regarding this, Mining Officer AP Singh registered a case at Baunli police station under obstruction in government work and MMDR Act.
ASI Roop Singh said that two tractors and their owners had already been arrested in the case. The accused Mahendra was absconding for a long time. The tractor of the accused was seized by the police station from Sikandra on 20 September. The accused Mahendra, son of Ramjilal Meena, resident of Malawas police station, Sikandra, district Dausa, was arrested today from SDM Tiraha Baunli.
