Sawai Madhopur: Bear enters Gothbihari village, creates fear among villagers

Sawai Madhopur : In the Khandar range of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, the process of wildlife coming out of the forest to the populated area is not stopping. There has been movement of bears for the last few days in Gothbihari village of Khandar. There has been a bear movement here for the last several nights. The bear is coming out of the forest and coming to the populated area. The arrival of the bear in the populated area has created panic among the local people. The villagers climbed on the roofs of their houses and made a video of the bear.

Here the bear kept roaming near the populated area for a long time at night. People informed the Forest Department team about the arrival of the bear. On receiving the information, the Forest Department team also reached the spot, but before the arrival of the forest personnel, some youth gathered courage and chased the bear away from the populated area into the forest. From here the bear went towards the forests of Ranthambore Taragarh Fort.

Sarpanch Bajrangi Saini, Wardpanch Mukesh Saini, Mahesh Saini, Lakhan Saini, Dharamraj Saini, Ramesh Saini, Pawan Saini etc. told that often the bear comes out of the forests at midnight and comes into the population. Here the bear made an unsuccessful attempt to break the locks of two shops including that of Brajesh Mali in the last two-three days. Similarly, the shop of Gopal Mali, son of Tarachand Mali was vandalized. The bear spread and destroyed thousands of groceries kept in the shop. During this time, the bear went back to the forest after eating the ghee and other food items kept in the shop. The bear is sometimes seen roaming in the middle of the village, sometimes in the fields, sometimes in the temples and sometimes around the populated areas. As soon as night falls, the bear comes out of the forest and comes towards the population. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to the arrival of the bear.
