Sawai Madhopur : Baunli police station is in action for the arrest of absconding and wanted accused. Baunli police station on Tuesday arrested the absconding accused Ganpat under the Excise Act. The action was carried out in Baunli police station area.
ASI Rambabu Gurjar told that on April 4, 2023, DST (District Special Team) had taken action on Khirni Road of Baunli. Where a liquor shop was operating illegally. During the operation, the accused Anurag, who was present at the spot, locked himself and ran away. DST had seized about 15 boxes of illicit liquor during this period. This liquor was kept for sale in an illegally run shop.
Accused Anurag has been arrested earlier in the case. ASI Rambabu Gurjar said that the team formed under the leadership of SHO Radha Raman Gupta under the direction of SP Mamta Gupta carried out this action. Meanwhile, the accused Ganpat was absconding. Under the operation being run under the direction of SP, the accused Ganpat, son of Kheruram Khatik, resident of Baunli was arrested.
