Sawai Madhopur : A case of embezzlement of government ration has been registered in Kundera police station area of Sawai Madhopur. A report has been lodged by the Logistics Department at Kundera police station regarding the matter.
In the report, Enforcement Inspector Pooja Meena said that Bhimsingh Gurjar, fair price shopkeeper, POS machine no. An investigation report against 19706 was submitted on 24 May. In the investigation report, Bhim Singh Gurjar had refused to accept the electronic fork and iris machine being distributed as per departmental instructions. Due to this irregularity, the license of Bhimsingh Gurjar was suspended on May 28. After suspension, attachment of Bhimsingh Gurjar’s fair price shop Ramsahay, POS machine no. 19798 Gram Panchayat was transferred to Olvada.
At the time of suspension, 11669.17 kg wheat was present in Bhim Singh’s POS machine number 19706. Which has not been transferred to the concerned fair price shopkeeper. 11669.17 kg wheat from Bhim Singh Gurjar whose market price is Rs 3 lakh 15 thousand 68. Non-transfer of which clearly falls in the category of embezzlement. Which is a clear violation of the conditions of the authorization letter issued under the Rajasthan Food Grains and Essential Commodities (Regulation of Distribution) Order 1976 and Section 3/7 of the Essential Commodities Act 1955. It is a punishable offense under. Due to which this case has been registered. At present, Kundera police station has registered the case and started investigation.
